Bogota

Bogota

A Poem by Cory Barrett
"

.

"
A garage filled with lawn mower
Exhaust fumes, reminds
Of a time in Columbia
Waiting for a crazy colored city bus,
Smelling your perfume over
The industry, knowing
Even in the clutch of suburbia,
I will never forget your
20 year old skin.

what a juxtaposition this is...the scent of the beauty's youth mixed with that suburban smog of buses and trains and construction...
Love the title...and the setting.

Ah, 20 year old skin - something about that I love. This could be the setting for a screen play.
