Lovely Girl

Lovely Girl

A Poem by Cory Barrett
"

"
Today is 14 years you have been gone, and every jutting pier
still make me dream of seventeen all over again.  Our bodies
shined with sweat, hand in hand; walking.  You in a tiny dress;
me with a Cesar style hair.  I was told your mother died last week.
How is your dead brother, how is your dead father, are they warm?
