This is a poem about a personal matter.

The Truth Within The Lie

I used to dance around it,

But never did I say its name…

NOT OUT LOUD!

It will hear me.

Paranoia

And all around me

I am wrong,

But what if it feels right?

To be what I am, who I am

Right now? Forever?

And it killed me.

Cold with fear.

All wrong, All wrong

But in every lie, there is a particle of truth.

I lied and lied and lied.

Until I bled…

And then I wanted to die.

Crazy, am I?

No

It is the truth,

The truth within the lie

That is to horrible to face.

Its ugly face…

And is it true?

What if this is me?

Now and forever

And I am here

I lied and lied

But now I only bite my tongue

As I say its name.

I feel like I can relate. I used to lie lots and lots and lots, because I wanted people to like me. until I got caught and called out for it. then I realized that I ought not to lie, I should just be me. and if people don't like that, then too bad.

Your right when speaking on behalf of paranoia ,you dont have to lie anymore because lieing i beleive only catches up to you when you realy mean it from the heart,but if you have to lie to some extent in your life than you do what you HAVE to do.
