Softly She Spoke of RainA Poem by Jethro del CielowipIt must have been with a worried mind or a tired soul, perhaps that she walked in through the door where I lived, at times alone but more often than not with wayward dreams sleeping on the floor whether they were welcome or no and said; it's no good anymore this thing outside and around that people call the world it's always been a little cold it's been traded then sold but for me there's too little light so I'm gonna stay here with you for a while sleeping on the floor whether you want me to or no and she did and she spoke of rain and I wouldn't be untrue if I said that from that point on the sky never did cry the same as it always had before no, never quite the same way or in the wrong place perhaps not even for reasons we'd know but it wouldn't be so far away to simply hope it cried for joy or for a melancholy of sorts or even just because it felt like the right thing to do at that time, at that place outside it cried as she spoke of rain and after that she spoke very little instead she simply listened while I dreamt my wayward dreams there on my floor sometime long ago
