Turning of Gears

Turning of Gears

A Poem by StrangeCaraway
"

gears in my ears..

"
Stack a rock garden high on a cloud.
Eyes to a bright sun, feet off the ground.
A one sided wheel won't always get me to my home.
Cross black and grey rivers when the yellow sphere is thrown.

I dont know where to go from here.
That part I never made very clear.
Sitting alone with two little wheels.
Turning the gears inside of my ears.

Forget those thoughts I said when I was in a daze.
Words seem to fall out in a feverishly hast.
My tongue fills with blisters and the spite oozes as puss.
Breaking my jaw tearing my cheeks losing your trust.

I'm still not sure where to go from here.
That part was never made very clear.
I can't continue to ignore what I hear.
The turning of gears inside of my ears.

I feel this works well as a poem and a song.
