Yes, I remember, do you....A Poem by Nely Amorimin response to a poem by Albert Freeman... my love, my life.Yes, I remember.. the sweet first glance my excitement was only nerves surpassed I remember taking your measure in height Your stride as you walked into my sight
I remember the thrill of our first embrace My girlish giggle, oh sheesh i was disgraced.. hahaa but I loved your smile and your eyes on me You said, "you're photos, justice do not give thee"
I grinned like a fool, almost jumping like a girl my heart was thumping when you took my hand Your skin felt warm and your fingers felt right entwined with mine
So tall and sexy, so sweet and strong How could I be so lucky? It had been so long The wait was over and we were on our way To know one another in that special way
My private place, my home , sanctuary I shared with you and it was so scary But within minutes your voice, your thoughts Your caring, did make me warm and airy
Our late nite talks, our laughs we shared You did capture me,Under your spell, do you Remember Me? I do, I Remember it Well....
