PastA Poem by Sean_Norman
Are you one of those people who hate your past.
Wishing it would go away, leave you at last. It's hard to get over things long ago. They linger in the present feeling long and slow. If your like me you have made mistakes. You feel like your whole body hurts with pain and aches. I try not to remember the things I've done. Missing all those times things used to be fun. I ask my parents will it ever go away. They just smile and say it gets better everyday. You never know what tommorrow might bring. Like a blooming flower in the beginning of spring. I wish there was a machine to earse it all. It makes me feel like I want to cry or even squall. Until that day the machine is made. I will sit back and think as the memories fade. It does get easier as time goes on. With every morning you wake, alittle more feels gone. So always tell yourself that you are strong. If you do that, you cannot go wrong. Some people get over it. Oh so fast! It's like they don't care or don't think about there past. If that's the case this isn't for you. It's for us out there who still need to get through. This is a poem to let you know. It does get better it just might seem slow. So hold your head high, and don't look back. Your past will start to fade, fade into black. © 2013 Sean_Norman |
