Stain Glass

A poem about life and strength.

A masterpiece has a story 

But strength doesn't come from 

Physical compacity 

It comes from an indomitable will 

Like a window shattered into a million fragments of colorful transparent 

glass, but when it is put together again, it is a stain glass window 

It is a masterpiece 

But also also shows the scars from the wounds it once had 

In moments that you think you can't keep going 

Your strength grows more each day 

Which shines brighter than it ever has before 

No matter how many times it shall break 

The ones who win battles we know nothing about are the strongest in their worst moments 

It can take an overwhelming breakdown to have an incrediable breakthrough 

With that comes new strength and new thoughts 

The stain glass masterpiece will always keep shinning after a breakthrough 

You overcome the things you thought you couldn't do 

It is turned into a masterpiece 

Your challenges are not suppose to 

Paralyze you 

Instead they should help you discover who you are 

With that you will have a longer story 

And 

You will be stronger
