It's Funny

About how in public we rave on about saving the environment but back home, we aren't quite the same.

It's Funny

It's funny how we all,

treat the Earth like it's a piece of trash.

We'll gladly destroy trees and plants

Just for a little extra cash.

It's funny how we say,

helping trees is for our own good.

Yet when you're back at home

your desk and bed are made of wood

It's funny how we use the bees,

just to get their honey.

We chop of their homes for wax

Oh! The things we do for money

Its' funny, now that I think about it

"The trees are unbreakable" they all said

"They rise up above all others

And watch us from overhead"

It's funny how we all sat by

As our trees began to fall

It's funny how none of this

Is funny to me at all

I love this! Actually, I love this below one stanza much :-

Very great job! I love some people're as same as you who care of environment because yeah...it's true, environment's all what that fills very living's need to live ... the words you used into the poem're very nice and greatfully I really appreciate this poem because I love green nature too (that's an other thing that I don't clean my room.. but I love nature) Ha!
