A Poem by Stooge

You make me tense

You make me nervous

Make me not sure what to say

It makes no sense

How I get jealous

When I see you two walk away.

I didn't know

About myself

Until you spoke to me

You helped me forget

All about my life

You opened my eyes so I could see

I was another's

When we had first met

But there's no way that could stop me

From thinking about you

Every single day

How happy I knew we could be

Thirty days passed

We went our separate ways

But I knew we'd meet again

Had I known

My chance would be gone

I would've made you mine then

Months gone by

Heart broken once

But some hope lied in you

Perfection doesn't

Stay alone forever

The only thing I know that's true

I'll wait here, patient

You take your time

Your love I don't want to force

I'll be here for you

If you need me

Of endless love I'll be your source
