No description...Just paying my respects to someone who desreves it March 10, 2009 Approx. 1:00 AM

"

No matter how hard I've tried

I could not get rid of you.

Past and present mixing together

Though feelings of hate, despise, and loathing have gone away,

Feelings of love, respect, and compassion have taken over again

after years of absence.

When I needed someone, you were there

When you need someone, I'll be there

However lost, abandoned, and lonely,

I'll help you through

Because you've been there for me,

And I can trust you

And I want you to know

you can trust me too.

What we've been through,

together or apart,

has made us who we are.

For all you've done

I just want to thank you

Because you're a part of my life

that I don't want to get rid of anymore.

Whenever you're around,

I forget about all but the here-and-now

I value your presence and company

as much as I value my own.

So please let me thank you,

You're much of what I've known

Because I don't care what you've done

or what you'll do,

I just want to say

Thank you

What a great tribute to someone who obviously hurt you at some time... you've learned to overcome those other bad powerful emotions and find peace in being.. we truly do not own or owe anything to anyone on this planet in the end.. I have known those bad feelings too and had to do the same to move on in life.. thank you for reminding me of forgiveness and respect!!
