Granted.

Granted.

A Poem by A. J. Stoner

"Be grateful for your smile, for I must cover mine.
Appreciate your family and friends, for I have left mine behind.
Cherish your childhood memories, for mine haunt me at times.
Value the things you possess, for I have lost almost everything more than once.
Appreciate, love, cherish and value people and things in your life for it all can be taken away from you at any given moment"

I like the wisdom of this! The tone is simultaneously upbeat yet sober and astute. Strange that gratitude is something that we have to remind ourselves to carry out every day, like a habit that has to be formed.

The poem sounds nice, we really should be grateful for what is given to us in life
