Silhoette

Silhoette

A Poem by Erik

A hostile silhouette

Wishing upon us the same fate he had met

Staring through the broken glass

As time passed

I am up against the grim reaper

And it seems I’m a keeper

It stares a deathly stare

That cuts me bare

All sad sins in the air

And it seems not to care

I am here

And I fear

That this is the end

Nice title. Simple, image-inducing, memorable.

As far as the story, I think it’s cool.

The rhymes as simple and nice.

If I could recommend anything, I’d say to have the sentences more symmetrical in structure.
