Stay In The Past.

Stay In The Past.

A Poem by Shanny Rowanhill
"

Another poem about being born in the wrong time :P

"

Stay in the past, that's where you belong
Breaking the symphonies, like never before
Stargaze will burn, forever and evermore

Just like dying - you wouldn't do that
To your loved ones - you couldn't do that

And shout, if you want, at the cosmic energies
They will hold you back - just where you belong
Stay in the past, it's your real home my love

Do you know what it's like to possess two souls
That are walking over boundaries that time itself holds
Weaving together an impossible net
To restore what they loved - and what they haven't yet met

Until next time, my love, and remember our song
Stay in the past - that's where you belong.
