Diamond Tears

Diamond Tears

A Poem by Shanny Rowanhill

I finally know who you are
At least I know how far we are
The night is open, make us wise
Look ahead, watch him rise

The father of all mirrors

Invitation, was only for the king
My soul was lost in time, lift up your heart and sing
Don't want you near me, you end the fright
It's been written and it plagues me through the night

You do not cross deep waters
They tell you all about the heart's disorder
I'll be waiting for you at the end of the night
Yes I'll be waiting at the end of the night

Diamond tears, and real slowly
I know you're here, simply and solely
I feel your breath, but I wish for you to go
By this darkness and finally I know...
