This wall will break

Day by day
this wall was built
Yet to hide
the pain she felt
Surrounding herself
was memories of deception
Only lies did she believe
which caused this
her heart to break
Here she is
to bare her all
For you will see
Inside a soul
So lifeless and so bleek
For she shall look ahead
Towards a destination
of all regrets unsaid
Upon you will come a day
When these feelings will fade
This heart will strengthen
That very day
That day this wall was built
Will finally break away

Nice poem. Reflections on the past bitterness, hurt and anguish. Slowly working through despair and hopelessness and finding the resolve to lay the past to rest and move forward with life and a resolve to find the light in the darkness. Great poem.
