Virtue of Despair

Virtue of Despair

A Poem by Christina-Marie

Tears they fall
Continuous with no end
Filled with feelings of despair
Ive run, Ive fell, Nothing can compare
Falling to the deepest pits
Of sorrow and regrets
Only to end up alone
With deep hurting all unknown
Doubts of return
Never seem to raid the mind
All my own forsaken in time
To only yet again yearn and find
In only then reminded
That I cant find
What Im looking towards
Only to find it is love
In which I am searching for

Wonderful write! I got that soul feeling I get when I read a poem that reaches me. I felt like I have read art.

"In only then reminded
That I cant find
What Im looking towards
Only to find it is love
In which I am searching for"

Thanks for sharing!

Great poem you wrote. From despair and feelings of hopelessness to the dawning realization of your journey to search for love. Very nice.:)
