The Snowflake

The Snowflake

A Poem by Voice11
"

Written after hearing a piano piece my friend composed

"

A gentle breeze, a whirling wind

The snowflake falls and it begins

Swirling shape of grace and beauty

Falling tragedy from its purity

Faster, Faster falling apart

Breaking that of a beauties heart

Crystal  soul gone astray

that the swirling breeze pulls every which way

Beautiful Tragedy in your sight

Half the Darkness, Half the Light

The truth that lies in your mind

To cease this love is to be kind

For in the end the truth shall perish

and emotions longing you have cherished

Will be gone into the past so dark

Revealed only when the snowflake falls

in the Winter of the Heart
