Changes

Changes

A Poem by Voice11
"

music speaks to me sometimes.. this is what I got out of one piano piece

"

Losses repeat, lonliness devours

Consuming what was once whole

Flames burning in the soul, Dying slowly

Clouded minds, clouded eyes

Clearly everchanging

Words unspoken, moments of peace

Timing, linked in a catagory of it's own

Joy and expression Between two souls

True great  emotion, make up for all the sorrow

But enduring the life of a Changeling

And walking the winds without fear

One must take on the tides of humanity

But either way, you always go back to the beginning

Losses repeat, lonliness devours

and it consumes what was once a whole

Lovely poem, the choice of words and the strong rhythm clearly illustrate the theme. I love the simplicity in the line "clouded minds, clouded eyes", the imagery is very strong. The repetition the first two lines at the end is a nice technique, it gives the feeling that though things are always changing some things stay the same... Anyways, I really liked it ^-^

I found one typo, it should be "Dying" not "dieing". Other than that, I really liked this one. A little confusing in some parts, but with a second read it comes together more. Good work :3
