UntitledA Poem by StifleEarly morning thoughts
I like the still mornings
Bugs slowly crawl to the shadows Birds begin socializing and hunting My mind can sense the sleep in the beings around me for miles Calmness and haze slowly untangle; details unfold as I walk Heightened senses cause higher thought Attention to detail is obtainable Then, as the profoundness of the moment is experienced, it begins tapering away The world awakens and my mind is cluttered with their thought Brainwaves penetrate me as the morning dawns Drawing me into reflective retreat As the bugs crawl to the shadows my mind reflects the worm I have become © 2013 Stifle |
