In honor of lost family

Memories float around me, Memories of you and me

Memories of our past, I'm still young and you are here

I smile as I watch you light your cig, I smile at the magic in your eyes

I laugh as you speak, We joke and tease back and forth

But now you are gone, All too soon from my life

I wasnted to make you proud, I wanted you to dance with me

While I'm dressed in all white, But now I have two dances

To dance on my own, Both uncles have passed

One in September of 2002, The last in July of 2006

A four year gap but still I have no peace

The tears still fall, The hurt is still there

But yet deep down, I know that their both still here

So I'll try not to cry tonight, As I lay myself to sleep

I'll try and dream of , The three of us and

The rest of the group, On the day that we are all together again.

It's nice to have family you can write something like this about. Sadly I don't have anyone I can write something like this about. Having a loving family is one of the most precious things anyone can have. This is powerful and makes me wish I had the loving family you have.

I wish I had been there to hold you for the first and am glad I was there for the second my dearest love. I know my prescense could never make it better, could never make it go away but know that I am always here for the shoulder that you need to cry on, for the arms that you need to hold you.
