Ode to coffeeA Poem by Stevvy Hopson
So dark yet so light,
So bold, But not too bitter. So sweet, So magical. How you help my mood rise. In the morning, evening, or after bedtime. Time, Of which I have no knowing. Enjoying you has no limit, Nor does it have a specific time. Steamy or cold, On the couch, in the shower, On the table, in the hall, Reading a book, Playing Skyrim, League of ledgending, With sugar, honey, whipped creame, Cinnamon, Or even pickles, Anything. You are always there and always enjoyable. I tip my glass to you, In hopes it will be filled again.
