Of Men, Animals,And The Transition Of Night To Day

Of Men, Animals,And The Transition Of Night To Day

A Poem by StevenDanielb

amber sky, and tangled trees
hues of blue sit on the beams
Nocturnal Beings wait lasciviously
as the sun falls down into the sea.

our horizon sees that its work is done
when Foreign worlds become one
the creatures come to have their fun
while the ocean drowns the sun

A bloodless moon, peers, deathly pale
upon a naive land thats wild and frail
wolves are boundless till' they fail
awaiting the sun to set its sail

the stars, again, our distant lovers
have faded as the day recovers
the beasts seek refuge in their covers
for countless moons, many suns, and finite numbers.
