Murder, Murder

Murder, Murder

A Poem by Steven Ingels

the town was simple the town was small
everyone said hello, nothing
could make this town go down

murder, murder who could it be
was it the cashier or was it the new
teacher. we don't know

the town was simple, the town was small.
everyone said who killed the pitcher.
nothing could make this town go down

murder, murder here we go again
who was it this time, the gardener
or the lifeguard. we don't know

the town was simple, the town was small
everyone was in fear saying this town
is going down

Murder, murder i fall to my knees
seeing myself kill the townies

Small towns can be a b***h. Actually, easier to figure out that larger towns. If it was that small towns were so simple, perhaps I would be happier. It's not as simple as this. But I speak from life experience of wanting revenge but never taking it. I love the raw honesty and the flow but re-think about small towns. Just keep writing is all I can say. I am honest but I need to understand your reasoning.
