Unforgettable

Unforgettable

A Poem by Steven Ingels

You fell from the sky without notice.
Your beauty seemed impossible every day we spoke.
We fought about nothing but we made up like we haven't seen each other in years.
You were my girl and no one could take you away from me.
That night we were looking at the bright stars when you told me that you only have months to live.
Inside I felt like my world was tearing apart but on the outside I knew everything will be okay.
My time with you was was like a smooth boat ride on the ocean.
Days after I woke up in my bed thinking about you wishing I spent more time with you.
I thought to myself do I need to carry on or just kill myself.
I couldn't do either of those things because she was just like you
