Moonlight On The MeadowA Poem by Steve HAnother quick write :) Not completely polished but Im fairly happy with it!Moonlight on
the meadow Ripple in
the grasses The breeze
in the trees Makes a
whistle as it passes Trickles
echo in the brook Midnight
crickets sing their song Silent owl
sits in the willow Observing closely
all night long Bats make a
flap As they
skitter through the skies Foxes flurry
through the hedgerows Cunning, sly
and wise Moonlight on
the meadow Silent night
retreating That is
until tomorrow When the
process is repeating. © 2010 Steve H |
