Sunrise

 

        SUNRISE

You my beloved are as a sunrise,
as when the first orange rays of dawn
reach out to caress the gentle heavens.
Soft, warm, bright -
and so painfully beautiful.
But also fleeting.
An interlude of pure joy
soon to be banished by the harsh brightness of the day.
Yet a moment of bliss that can still bring warmth
even in the darkness of this cold night.

The sentiments here are definitely valid and well expressed...I'd like to see a change in formatting, to allow for better cadence/flow....focus on your line breaks....words are allowed to shine when arranged with as much care as we take conjuring them.....
