So That's How It's Gonna BeA Chapter by Kannst du mir die Ewigkeit gebenGo to the supermarket, get Mama’s medicine and buy some choc-chip cookies (yum!), then go home and consume said choc-chip cookies. Easy right? Wrong. Why was it that bad things always have to happen to me? Have I not been good? Does the Almighty Ones hate me, is that it? Well, whatever it is, I have only one thing to say, I HATE YOU ALL!!!!!!! From the abandoned hell formerly known as MY MIND, love always, Nyarn. The helicopter made a steady whup whup as it sped through the evening sky. Nyarn peered out of the window, liquid brown eyes flickering across the sprawling suburbs below. She had no idea where exactly she was. What city, which state. All she could do is guess. They hadn’t gagged her or blindfolded her like they did in the movies. She was permitted to stare about her, pick up landmarks, because, to them it didn’t matter. She was going to be bought like a mere object and disappear from the earth as if she Not that she hadn’t tried. Nyarn most definitely had tried. She had screamed till her throat was hoarse; kicked, bit, scratched, punched and pulled. They had been many broken noses, blood and bruises, and the raw damage she had inflicted on her captors brought Nyarn a sense of deep satisfaction. But it had all been for naught. Jacob had come up to her with a small smile on his face while she had been in the process of disconnecting a man’s thumb from his hand. An explosion of pain later she had woken in a nice sunny room to Jacob’s warm face. Don’t miss behave, and we’ll play nice. That was what he had said. Walk off to your eternal damnation with a pretty smile on your face and we’ll let you keep the cookies. It didn’t really matter what she did, she would be sold anyway. But that was okay. After hours of crying and tears, Nyarn had finally realized how pointless this all was. She couldn’t fight her fate, it was set in stone, she was going to be sold. But she could determine how freakin’ pleasant it would be for the scum willing to buy her. She grinned, and the other passengers in the confined space gave her a wary look as a dark gleam sparkled in her brown eyes. Oh, this was going to be fun.
