Once i smiled, didn't frown,

As joyous as one could be,

But seeing you so down,

That's what did it for me,

Your angel wings grew,

As white as snow,

Before i knew it you flew,

I didn't want to let go,

Above all you rose,

On your journey to the pearl gates,

Mixed among the crows,

Hoping to see what awaits,

Silence flows around,

Not a word to be spoken,

Your feet no longer on the ground,

My heart stay broken,

Once i smiled...
