High Waves

The hype isn't always true when it comes to love.

Deep and tragic is the way we will go,

right or wrong, the sea doesn’t care

what we think we know

the waters of powerful unpredictability,

still manage to have a certain likability

no one ever seems to choose traveling the unknown,

yet we all do it, creating a major steppingstone

I can see the sea between you and me,

deep and tragic, is the way it must be

Very poignant, as a matter. The texture of the piece is also rich, and moderately compelling.
I quite like this poem, in fact. It reminds me of a poem a friend of mine saw at an art gallery, at one point.
