Fishing in deep waters

Fishing in deep waters

A Poem by Steph K
"

The twist of fishing

"

You deserve a clap

The glow that you provoke

Road beams of a map

Red wine, bread soaked

WhOa, a freaking moat.

Sorrow knows no bounds

Literally, you around

Mount, the reins of fate

Senseless, wishful bait

Wait.

Like fish in the sea

Freedom comes undone

Worm wriggles, prey.

Pray, prey, pray,

Oh, what a pun!

Parallels sink in, poles attract

Opposite, danger calamity

Woe! Oh woe is me!

See? Self-pity

Tsk,tsk,tsk

Human folly.

Dusk awaits

The brief twilight

Minutes gone

Must wait.

Wait. To be said.

How each line you fill with emotional visions.. connected, phrase by phrase, moving us through life and moments... still moments. Wondrously done!
