What was lost is foundA Poem by Steph KWhen will I believe? You made me happy, You made my heart beat, Fast, like a flick The click of a blink. Flutter, flutter, flutter the red pieces of rose went. And as quickly as melted butter It was gone... (Or so I thought) And then beckoned thee, But I did not go. For a lock sealed, My heart concealed. A thousand words builds a bridge, To a sea of hope thrashing, crashing against... Crushed. When silence fell, When the clocks lost their tick. When all gave up And a familiar pinch. Oh so painless you think; Clinch. Like shattered glass, a bit torn off. Ripped? Maybe, profound Like the relief of lost then found. Confetti flew and I though I knew The true you. Though, I still blamed me brutal, rouge, unmerciful poise Hurt me, pained me And still relived Because, thoughtless you Broke me free From me, myself. Like fire igniting, The Troy of my heart Beat. Beat. Beat. Until remorse swallowed my sorrows (Or so I thought) But still I think of you, The shiny savior, warrior Redeemer of my heart. © 2011 Steph KAuthor's Note
