Wretched worryA Poem by Steph KThey say love and hate are intertwined. My heart aches. Pierced by a thousand needles Like salt filled paper cuts engulfed in acid Worry, anguish and pain Feelings of regret Maybe even remorse. They say people only
feel regret when one is sick or assumed to be. But I feel the sadness of seas And as I lay here my eyes bloodshot with worry, my head thrashing to the beat of pain Every second growing, Nothing can replace
the beating of my heart. Its broken. Torn, ripped apart like an ink note in
the rain. Collapse. Worry, The silence of the
night, Cursing unfairness,
her sorrowful deep damnation! Maybe its an
exaggeration, A heightened parabolic claim. But I fear nonetheless, Willfully. © 2011 Steph K |
