The Journey ~
The
journey goes on, it isn’t that the door closes, it is that another door becomes
ready to open on a new enlightened pathway.
In shedding the host
husk of this short lifetime, we find the divinity that is our essence and have
no more earthly needs to help define it in our understanding.
In quiet serenity,
without material purpose and in the reverent acceptance of oneness the journey
goes on….
Nicely penned, Stella. The most part of the poem was spiritual and it was a journey that talked of meeting with divinity and finding your purpose. at the end, this write took a turn on its head and the mood of write changed. Yes, in current times - we are only witnessing wars and needless fighting. Wars are never a solution, peace comes through dialogue and dialogue only. There can no peace with force, it can only blossom in the garden of restraint and understanding.

This is an old write and i think it was really about finding ourselves and ultimately finding peace after a lifetime of thinking peace in the world itself could be won by fighting for it rather than peace making .
i just happened on the poem out of a biggish archive and thought of its relevance to today.

Hi Stella, thanks so much for sharing those insights on the write. Really appreciate that.
"he journey goes on, it isn’t that the door closes, it is that another door becomes ready to open on a new enlightened pathway." THIS right here, is SO VERY TRUE,
It may seem hard to believe but another door always opens, whether in this realm or another yet "we strove to find peace, //by searching for it in war..." BRILLIANT.
There is much foolishness surrounding us and should we take leave of our better selves so easily join in. But regret shall always admonish. Superb penning🙏🏻🕊
