Whispers ~ sonnet
In clustered whispers lost loves still echo on flights of fantasy they dance in dust; spent kisses softly drift and wisely know that see-saw winds blow tides of wanderlust.
They talk in tongues and cling but to their own, a secret haunting language of romance; in woven, wistful webs they sing alone maybe in time I too will sing perchance.
For now the winds are thread with springtime song, young love must bloom and grow as is its way; new mem’ries still awake stay sweet and strong yet whispers will come soon to steal away.
Ah, this is life and love which never dies but gathers up and whispers in the skies.
