The pleasures of sharing.

 

You, and rich, dark chocolate,

remember how we shared it?

Kissing one piece together until it dribbled

 between us

sticky and luscious,

 and the laughter in your eyes.

 

You, and deep red cherries,

sweet and sensuous,

 you tempting me with one on my lips,

 all that succulence.

 You, then biting into yourself,

juice spraying on my cheeks as I tried to take it,

 and the laughter in your eyes.

 

You and tart, ripe raspberries,

that explosive taste moment

when I teased you,

then forbade you to relish the tingle

and you took them anyway 

so eager to taste forbidden places,

and the laughter in your eyes.

 

 I thought of you this evening

and as I smiled

I felt your tongue savour

the juices running sweet and inviting

between us

yet erotically gentle,

and the laughter in your eyes,.

Hi Kelly , i am a multi faceted poet i am afraid, i write about almost anything other than politics and angst .To be honest i never sit down to write a poem unless an idea or a moment comes to me during the day, they are almost spontaneous this last few years and i feel the better for that.
I suppose poetry becomes a journey that changes direction as it goes along, new paths emerge to be followed , that is how it has been for me anyway and thank you for your very kind and lovely review :)

Hi Chris, well yes i think we poets often get put in certain boxes of expected genre, but we do have other expressive ways of writing that are sometimes too personal to want to share.
Anyways i decided to share this one , not only the young enjoy freedom and pleasure ( they think us oldies never tried pleasurable teasings lol),
