Moments  ( 4)

 

This crystalline morning

as clear, crisp soprano notes

 hallow the silence

of purity,

 in frozen meadow dreams

still sleeping,

phantom white grasses

shimmer glorious, glacial

transplendence in quiet, quivering facets.

 

Evocative,

 the serene silhouettes of naked trees

in wistful posture

lend themselves to 

ballerina-pose.

Such ethereal grace in

 delightful demeanour.

 

This

 teasing, tingle touch

on my frost kissed face;

a special endearment from you?

There is an essence

in this beautiful solitude.

 You are near

I am not alone, this i know

 

In enchantment

I imagine …

 

Then turn away before time

can steal these

precious moments from me.

You have deep sense of imagery, with words you paint the scene around, it almost comes alive here. These lines are indeed beautiful, I liked them. It's like a silent talk here, a conversation.

I keep a little book in which i jot down words and phrases that i like,if it is a phrase that another poet has used i make a note against " do not plagiarize". Something i have always done .

I do still miss having a proper fire with flames licking up the chimney .... ah, i miss so many things, but i can visualize them and retreive the smell of chestnuts :)

[Poetic Beauty]

The ballerina poses of trees is a beautiful image. The thoughts we have in solitude are special ones and I’m not sure if you are speaking of a loved one who has departed this earth or if you speak of God being there. Either way it is a spectacular and spiritual thought. Comforting!!
