The MindA Poem by Stefano IaniroCognition darkens with every note, A screech, a scream, a souls afloat, Lost memories take air from your throat, A mind’s your thoughts a life has wrote. You think. You breathe. You understand. A maze of confusion for you to withstand. My nerves engage in conversation. I sit. I kill; Imagination. I ache and pain; avoid creation, Create a thought from pure frustration, Repress the mess of my temptation, These acts are caused by limitation. Outside the box, a dream has died. A vision. A scare. A twist of the knife. For what you’ve seen has been altered inside. A horror. A game. A terrible space. My darling, The mind; Is a dangerous place. © 2011 Stefano IaniroReviews
