Summer Fling

Summer Fling

A Poem by Stefano Ianiro

Summer fling, they say our hearts aren’t too strong,

Let them sing, because their judgements are wrong,

Finally, you kissed me but I froze for too long,

Now the snow has come and where have you gone?

Oooooh. At first, I thought it was going to be corny, but the ending line...Yea, nice work. I liked how you related the words, 'froze' and 'snow' in neighboring lines. Good work.

I really like the way this poem is set out. I loved the last part where suddenly that love was lost within the change of a season. Great write!

I like this a lot! I'm assuming it's so short to symbolize how short a summer romance is? Great peice, but almost a bit too brief. I'd expand on it a bit.
