Machine

Machine

A Poem by Stefano Ianiro
"

It can have several meanings, but I simply wrote about a Camera trying to feel human emotions and fall in love with something he's ruined :)

"

You wish me luck as you’re falling apart

We never made it and that’s our story

We’ll take advice from this broken machine
Cause we can’t be together on a silver screen

I ripped to shreds all the wires in me

And tried my luck with a galloon of morphine

I felt a tingle and a snap at the seams

It seems to be me, A problem in my body

You power off as you say your goodbyes

Frightened by the lights you hide inside

Left me lonely, Left me out here to dry

You’ll be back even if you have died

I never thought you would break in two

Without you here it hard just to pull through

I will fall until I am broken too

Just so they can lay me next to you

Interesting thought process... here... I do have a question in the 2 stanza, 2 sentence... did you mean gallon... vice galloon... if so explain... I did look up galloon... but the meaning does not fit... definition:

a narrow trimming (as of lace or braid with metallic threads) having both edges scalloped...

I think the poem is Ok..
I will fall until I am broken too

Just so they can lay me next to you
..but this line is more than ok it is the master stroke..
