No words could describe

What I am feeling

At this moment

 

I feel happiness

The wind caressing my hair

The warmth of the sun on my skin

The smile on my face

When I think of you

 

I feel sadness

The coldness of the night

The unending tears of sorrow

The wetness of my pillow

As I lay my head down

When I think of you

 

I feel desire

Your presence beside me

Your lips against mine

Your strong embrace

Your comforting hugs

When I think of you

 

Words

They only describe

The mere surface of my feelings

The deepest of my heart

Remains untold

I enjoyed this. You really show a good range of emotions, and it flows nicely. And I like the idea of word only skimming the surface, like how you can only see a small fraction of an iceburg, the bulk is out of view.

not bad. not really great either. its too simple and a little boring. your choice of words arent powerful enough. it looks like one of those hallmark poems. but still, its pretty good. keep practicing. keep writing.

Very heartfelt and so beautiful! Its funny how the sunlight brings out the happiness within us and the nights, linger with sadness. Sometimes words can't express what you feel in your heart. Those words aren't invented yet. Beautifully written and I can strongly relate to this poem ... hugs
