wishing memory

this was while me and my wonderful beautiful fisnce was split up but now everything we had has returned but i wanted to share this still

my heart is breaking

there is no faking

love is an image not a reality 

or is it?

well i thought so 

till you came in

life was rough

my life was going down a drain

till the day you got me out of the rain

i needed help

i had these walls

 around my heart

till you smiled 

and they melted apart

now and again

i think back 

man what a time we had

that was a fact 

tears go down my face

when i think of 

our past....

first date...

simple but romatic

i know a pizza parlor 

isnt somewhere  

most would go

the smile she had

the twinkle in her eye

even my best friend 

tagged along by our side

man i wish 

oh how i wish that

 i could have that night 

one more time 

as for she does not 

see me like she once did

the sparkle in her eye is gone

and the smile she had has disappeared 

oh what i would give

 for that twinkle

what i would give

 for that smile

once more is fine 

once more

before..
