do the insects eat around tattoos

do the insects eat around tattoos

A Poem by Steeven

you wanted to meet fire, last warmth for cold body

why settle in dampness?

to feel the rain casually

fill the empty apartment vacant of brain

to

know as much a part of family

equally you'd be part of earth.

i knew you knew, though it happened

a few weeks too soon,

at least your story concluded

in a dialogue of sobriety

what better thought while i stare at the moon?

~ an apparently simple but extremely chaotic piece of writing... i've a million thoughts buzzing in my head about that "last warmth"... "empty apartment"... what "happened"... why it happened "too soon"... and the "dialogue of sobriety"... oh, and that last line... is so amazingly profound...
