her victory For
once I rode the carousel Of
your navel… Sunrise had arrived To
unprepared lovers Forgetting
t-shirts Securing
alibies Post-poning
Good-bye The
way the sun shone Illuminated
everything God
left his gold throne To
retrieve his Ray-Bans Wish
I would have waited On
brighten terrace, as friend asked ,
and not gone home to evil allies Who
played familiar songs so
i c(w)ould sing along cause
they lacked my love of
myself and you (see
title) If
I didn’t lie as easily As
a ream of parchment awaiting
graffiti I’d
still be yoursun Not
another leo, Another
cat clawing At
the door Where
milk served sweeter than Any
gospel sung of before… But
a scratched record Has
least one song You
