unprepared

unprepared

A Poem by Steeven

Found the answer

As I drained into gutter

Of palm frond

Forgotten Wesson

Figured repetition of psalms

Would suffice

Late to be wise

Learn not send armour

Away to be shined

Brazenly believing chance

Going to war

In mere underwear.

~ yes... it's a war zone out there... it takes a while to realize that though... and that's okay... we're all human... we're not born enlightened... there's a saying i know in another language which when translated means... "whenever you wake up, it's morning, and you can do whatever you weren't able to when you were sleeping"... meaning that even if one wakes up after several years of living life, it's okay... one can always begin the next day like a fresh day... it's not easy but it can be done...
