A Poem by Steeven

     lay my head

            may i?

a lonely loving wanderer

            meandering along

big mississippi life.

     lay my lips

            may i?

a heavy soul with heaven high hopes

            stumbling down

big cascade world.

     say more

            may i?

confess eyes watch your dreams

and desire to fill you up

                            then

                                    drink you down.

your beauty body

-i see pulse in your neck

                        the heaving of your chest

rivets in sand from your nervous

                        digging feet-

casting long love dream silver

            on the lake...

i don't know which

            'you'

            i want to taste.

give me up

            may i?

fall to your feet

                        in a heap

shapeless pile of laundry

and stare up with child's love eyes

leave behind tear wet kisses

to dry stiff against your cheek.

use my key

            may i?

open you and climb inside

            a young boy frightened of

big sad world

            animal curled

you'd kiss me goodnight

            may i

kiss you back?

~ amazingly lyrical and amazingly enchanting poetry... you're an extremely skilled and an extremely sensitive poet, monsieur steeven... i can't even begin to tell you how fascinating the narration is... it's almost as if one can hear the poet's voice...
