forget

forget

A Poem by Steeven
"

to make up for the one to follow

"

if ever i should forget, let me forge new

memories and admirations, declarations of love

that only young naivety could compose.

grant me a chance to explore

tempt me not towards exploitation of the bliss

of forgetting

forgettable kisses

or the ever-wet tongue of regret:

amnesia like sweet ambrosia

leaping from a window

into my nose.

~ your little boy heart is beating sweetly in your words, monsieur... this is an extremely earnest piece of writing... and, it's extremely skillfully written...
~ i don't think it's possible for you to miss the bliss... :)
