Photographer, observer, poet

Photographer, observer, poet

A Poem by Chuck
"

My capturing life as I see it, but not part of it.

"

Surrounded by people, yet alone

My artistic skill I work to hone.

Capturing beauty all around,

Often alone within a crowd.

I take their photos, enjoy their smiles,

Yet we are separated by many miles.

Expecting couple, for a moment then done,

I take their photos, and then they are gone.

The woman sitting alone at the shore,

I capture the moment but know her no more.

I write of the joy, the sadness, the strife,

That can be found in everyone’s life.

I capture with my camera and then

I express the thoughts, with my pen.

I take in all they let me see

I am invisible, they know not me.

Just an observer, yes I know it,

Living as the photographer poet.

I adore your style of writing. It is so beautiful. Enjoyed every word, every line, every stanza, every rhyme. ((:

This poem is definition of you.... the way a "photographer poet" maintains a silent relationship with people unknown touched me.
He feels their joy, delight as well as the sadness and solitariness.
You captivate moments with your photographs and words!
I am pleasantly amused, how beautifully consistently you keep writing the joyous side of life... the moments that can bring smile every time you remember it.
Thank you for letting me be part of it!
Wonderful write!
