Young woman at the water's edgeA Poem by ChuckPhotographer, poet and observerYoung woman sitting at the water’s edge, Quietly lost in thought. Her mind looks to be miles away, Wrestling with what happened. Sitting alone, she wants it that way, She has to walk through this. Is it a mate, a date, a family member, A breakup, a mix-up or a loss? Whatever it is, I can see from here, The pain she is enduring. Now the head off, our paths have crossed, Though we never met. A photographer, poet and observer, And the young woman at the water’s edge. © 2012 ChuckReviews
