Simple PleasuresA Poem by ChuckA day out with my cameraSeventy and Seventeen to twelve and twenty Soldiers and cannons, smoke a plenty Quartets of strings, music floating Brides and grooms, their moments approaching A couples baby bump proudly showing Their expectant faces simply glowing The sun setting the mansion alight The piled up clouds an amazing sight Little ones playing on the shore Pastel chairs to be used no more My camera and I out together These are the images caught forever Now by the quiet water sitting I review in my mind the days shooting And I am thankful once more For the simple pleasures I adore. © 2012 ChuckReviews
